The Urgent Care Centre (UCC) is a private urgent care facility located in the Vancouver area. The Centre is an extension of the private, fully-accredited, state-of-the-art, multi-disciplinary False Creek Surgical Centre which has been offering patients quality and timely healthcare since 1997. Our physicians and nurses work within the Centre and provide access to most treatments that require immediate medical attention. With rapid direct access to diagnostic and therapeutic services, the UCC is a one stop urgent care treatment centre.

FCSC utilizes three operating rooms, six recovery beds, and five overnight stay rooms. The UCC currently operates five days a week: Monday to Friday 9 am – 5:00 pm.

Our Vancouver surgery centre is licensed for overnight stays for patient care following their procedure. The Centre maintains a nurse to patient ratio of up to 1 nurse for every 3 patients, creating an environment for high quality patient care.

The False Creek Surgery Centre boasts some of the most up-to-date equipment available, allowing for less invasive techniques in all areas.

The 6,000-square-foot facility is unique in being able to present technology within an environment designed with an aesthetic backdrop. The centre was designed with natural lighting and warm colours to help promote a sense of calm and healing. The environment is further enhanced by the use of natural stone and wood, framed by a view of beautiful downtown Vancouver and the Coast Mountains.

For out of town patients, please ask us about special arrangements for accommodations. Our preferred accommodation is at the Vancouver Westin Grand Hotel, approximately five minutes drive from the facility. Accommodations may be booked using our corporate discount rate when booked by our staff. Please let us know at the time of your consultation if we can assist in making these travel arrangements.
